Strength in the Lord

Well I got up yesterday and it was one of those days that you have to put the whole *Armor of God on for. I was getting ready to blog when my lap top went hay wire and took me on an adventure that I rather had not gone on. So I turned off the computer instead and decided to work on preschool early with Lil J. I am working out of a book called "Slow and Steady Get Me Ready" http://www.amazon.com/Slow-Steady-Get-Me-Ready/dp/159160236X it is awesome it has activities to do with babies from week one. It is amazing the transformation these babies make in a week of doing the exercises. Little J sat in the middle of my table and we put rice and beans in a bucket and he played in them and got them everywhere I am still finding morsels every where. It was fun and he said Rice and Beans and would use the pinch method to pick up the grains. Speaking of exercise I am going to start a regimen today of part yoga part muscle toning. I do not have any qualms about losing weight it is more just getting healthier. I have cut down to one cup of coffee a day and drinking water the rest of the time. I have seen a vast improvement in my skin. I was watching Doctor Oz on CBS yesterday and he had about the dangers of makeup and I could not believe the *makeup that I used which was supposed to be the best out there for the skin is the most harmful to your lungs. So again what is supposed to be beneficial is life threatening. Thank goodness I gave up foundation for lotion.
I have been making leftovers the last tonights but my sixteen year old says they are not left overs because I use them in a new recipe. He suggests that I make a section in my blog with recipes for left overs. We will see if I have the time in my busy schedule.
I have been watching the news more lately and I think to myself, "why bother"? Nothing changes the biggest news is the government and the things being done to the economy I don't know about you but I am the family that is not mentioned in the conversations about where does are tax money go or the unemployment rate is up but more jobs are being created oh did I mention that I am not a construction worker and either is my hubby so job being provided not us... Oh well we will continue to depend on God and not the Government. So after reading my Bible and praying today I decided I would blog but my daughter Laekyn had other ideas. She wanted mommy all day so I do not really have any tips today because I was s spending the whole day holding her.
I am excited it is almost time for my hubby to be home and I am making chicken tacos for dinner and spending the next few hours with my family and the Lord. Today is our devotion night. We are reading "Prayer Through the Bible" it is a wonderful tool and I recommend it. So off to the grocery store and home for relaxation.

Tip 1: Lotion and a compact powder is better for your lungs. Use natural bees wax for lip gloss.

Verse of the Day:
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Eph 6:13-18
